Week 1, Day 1

The brand new page had just begun in Dalian as we visited supermarkets such as the Wal Mart and were invited for a small ceremony held in Qing Gong Yuan Dalian University Polytechnic. It was also the day which we were assigned to a student buddy. Boy to boy, girl to girl. However, there weren’t enough guys available and I had to partner with a female student. Unfortunate yet lucky, the girl I was partnering had her own group of close buddies which coincidentally includes Rui Hon’s (my room mate) buddy too. From that moment we met, we started to learn more about each other although there were differences such as the way they spoke Chinese was initially hard to understand. The eye of the opposite party seems to communicate a message of differences between us. But coming to think about it, it was just the first day we met. Therefore it was most likely to happen. However, I felt that time could definitely help unlock this barrel between us, during the process of understanding within both parties.
